Question

Pasting mustiple images from a browser into word is broken

May 9, 2011 1:54AM PDT

I am using Word 2007 in XP.

When I select multiple images and text from a website (both Firefox 4 & IE Cool, and paste it into word (or Excel), everything pastes fine, except that the 1st image is pasted instead of the 2nd or 3rd.
Thus I get:
image 1
image 1 again (instead of image 2)
image 1 again (instead of image 3)

I can paste from one word document to another with no problem, thus it is not a clipboard issue.

It's the weirdest thing and I have scoured the net and am unable to find a solution. I figure it must be a setting in Office about "how to paste" but I cannot figure it out.

Please help!

1. "It is broken". Did it work before it was broken?
2. How do you select multiple images? Can you give an example of such a page?
3. Does it work on another PC?

1) I reformatted my computer and now it no longer pastes correctly (problems as mentioned above).
2)
I highlight them by clicking and holding, then I run the cursor over a
selection of text and images. Then I hit control C. Then I select a
word document and hit control V
3) It does work on another PC, and it used to work on this one until I reinstalled office.

(Sorry about the typo in the title Confused )
