Pasting a photo from my pictures, to a wordpad document

Does anyone know how to paste a photo from my pics. to a wordpad doucument? I'm tring to make a flyer.

Just the old way.

Might be a faster way but from memory I double click on the photo, paint opens it. I select all, and copy. Now switch back to the wordpad and do the Edit Paste.
