Password expiration
Dec 5, 2004 6:58PM PST

Tomron,

Users in a professional environment often are given a password that's only valid for a certain period (say 30 days). The idea is that it is safer to be obliged to change your password regularly, rather than keeping it unchanged forever.

So this is just a warning that - according to that idea - you're not safe (enough). You might choose to ignore the warning, or you might set your passwords to expire in a certain period.

tells how to do it.
