I read a review on CNet leading me to believe that PasswordBox was a very good password management tool. Based on that I downloaded the add-on for Firefox and Chrome. I couldn't get either one to work. Spent hours exchanging email with PasswordBox support; with no resolution of problems. Any one else have this issue?

Which version of Firefox are you using? Below is why I ask ....

There are other Firefox users with the similar issues. Here's a response from a frequent contributor to the Mozilla Support forum:

'PasswordBox unfortunately was not updated to work with Firefox 40 (its last update was in May). The extension used the old "widget" module to add its button to the tool bar and that module no longer exists in Firefox.

Please do contact Intel/McAfee to find out what their plans are for updating this extension, as other users are also asking and we would love to know.

If your online life cannot proceed without PasswordBox, you might need to return to Firefox 39.0.3, bearing in mind the security issues. This article has more information: Install an older version of Firefox.

I don't know the above to be fact, but it does seem plausible. Having said that, I would think PasswordBox support would have been aware of it.
