Use the Utilman.exe trick. Examples: https://www.google.com/search?q=Windows+10+Utilman.exe+Password+reset.
I had Windows 10 put on my hP 2010i desktop about a year ago by a local company who I have worked with before. I did some simple things - created a couple of files and put on a few family pictures. Then I spent almost 6 mos out fighting a sickness. When I got back, I used it a couple of times, and then one day when I went to sign on it asked for a password, I had never specified a password - not sure I even know how on 10. The company they said they hadn't. It says I can reset the PW If have a PW reset disk which I do not. Am I dead in the water and will have to get 10 reloaded again? I appreciate any help. Clay
