Password request after removing HD

I removed my HD to try it on another computer. When I put it back in my old computer, it won?t boot Windows XP all the way...it now asks me for a password of which I never put in. So the only way I have been able to get my computer to boot is to put in a Norton System Recovery CD and have it begin the boot off of that and all of my setting show up as before. PLEASE HELP as this is driving me crazy...Thanks in advance ~
