For a Windows password, download NTPASSWD from http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ (free) and reset it.

hi, if you have a windows xp on your laptop and you can't access your user account, press alt+ctl+del and you will get administrative access, choose administrator without password and you are in. once you got in go to control panel - users - and change your user password or remove the password.
