It's too messy. Why not go with how Panera and others do this? The usual is to have the SSID and password at the counter and change it monthly to kick off moochers. Simple is better.
We are giving the Free public WiFi in my restaurant, but now i want to restrict the WiFi to the registered customers only. my idea is to connect all the customers to the open WiFi network without internet access but the customer trying to browse the internet, it's default url will be my portal having the registration form with username and password like our ISP login & psw, then only they access the internet. Next time they came again simply access through the username and password.
How can i implement the same please share any ideas. i've little bit knowledge on networking and server programming.
