Question

Password Help

My brother discovered and changed my password, so now the only way i can get on the computer is if he logs me on. is there a way i can get the password from inside the account?

While I can use the change password from any admin account or NTPASSWD there is no telling if this is Windows, what version or some Linux box.

Think about your post in advance and supply the basics again.

Sadly it means you need more information, maybe training.

If one can't write "use the admin account" to make a change or send folk out to research NTPASSWD then I think it would be best to either have your support folk come to your home or forget about it until you get more training in Windows administration.

You make a good point. That is, should folk start ditching Windows if this can't be fixed by clicking a fix it button?

Just re-install the OS:)

that's what I do... Coz there's no other option you could change or get the Admin password fron any other user account over a PC(or even froma logged in Admin account).
