I?m not aware of this issue, and I?m not sure which chip exactly you?re referring to.
All of our available parts are accessible by either calling 800-SAMSUNG, and then selecting parts from the menu, or you can go to www.samsungparts.com to order what we have available. Anything else that?s not available through those two avenues requires a certified Samsung technician.
The processor circuit board in my less than two year old LN-S3238D is failing after it warms up, and there are no service locations in my area. Can consumers order replacement parts from Samsung?
I found that if I cool what appears to be the processor chip (the big chip on the controller board), it will work until it heats up again. The TV also works pretty good with the back covers off, so I'm concerned about the heat dissapation for this big chip. Has anyone heard if this chip over heating is a common problem and if so is there a way to fix it?
