All the file metadata will vanish. Also any rights, permissions, ownerships will vanish too.
-> On top of that, any file over 4 gigabyte can't survive.

Hi There does anybody know of a FREE Software program which can partition a hard drive dynamically converting a NTFS partition on the same hard dirve as a Fat 32 partition to a FAT 32 without loosing any data. I know what you are going to say why is he doing this. This is a drive which has windows 98 on the Fat32 partition and for some reason a NTFS EXT Dos partition which I want to convert to Fat32 "I did not set this up this way". I have tried FDisk and for some reason or another I canot delete this partition while a logical Dos Drive exists??? and I dont want to delete the partition that Windows 98 is on so I cant reformat the NTFS partition as FAt32. I don't mind loosing the data on the NTFS Partition But I want to keep the Fat32 with Windows 98 on it. It does not matter whether it runs under Dos or Windows. Any help in this matter would be very much apreciated.
I thank you in advance of your submitions. kindest Regards Tony B.
