Many thanks.

But it all sounds way too complex and subject to too many problems.
I use my MBP for business primarily and would not wish to compromise my work stuff.
Thanks for your help though.

Sorry but did you just reveal there is no backup?

If you don't have a backup copy somewhere I fear the worst. For some DROPBOX.COM is enough. Even if my machine melts into a plastic puddle, I have a few GB up there.

Back up??
Jul 16, 2012 7:09AM PDT

What are those then?
Joking.......
Of course I have back up!
I had hoped it would be a simple process of simply shrinking one by 30Gb and increasing the other.
So naive of me, I know.
Just had hoped that it would be simple......
But thanks Bob. I do appreciate your help.

Some folk tell me that they back up in the car just fine and reverse is working there.
