Try to take a look at CONFIG.SYS and/or AUTOEXEC.BAT file. PM might put a command there.
Regards,
Hi,
I am using Partion Magic v 7.0 and Win XP Home edition. I encountered an error while PM was running a batch file and it hung. Rebooting now only gets the error message to repeat. I have tried deleting various files like PQ_BATCH.PQB and PQ_DEBUG.TXT. It either complains that the batch file is missing or it just hangs. How can I get around the batch file or script which is calling all this? I can't find it in the registry or usual places. It also appears it normally doesn't stop until it runs and reboots to a screen which says it is complete. I was able to get back into the drive by renaming XMNT2001.EXE so it wouldn't find it. It still goes to some script and says it can't find xmnt2001 and won't do an autocheck. I have also had no luck with renaming pboot.exe. Thanks for any ideas.
