Question

Paralyzed and wanting to read

Jan 26, 2012 4:02AM PST

My father has ALS and can no longer use his hands or arms. He can lift his feet however. I want to find a way he can use an iPad or nook color to read. Does anyone know a peripheral so he can use pedals to turn the page?

Love the idea of using this as a PDF reader! Then I would need to buy books as PDF, I could do that.

Your dad may qualify for a free reading service. In the Washington area, this is provided by a group called Washington Ear http://www.washear.org/
