My wife just got this phone. She wanted a small'ish messaging phone with no data plan. She really likes the phone but we are having 1 small problem.

When I hook it up to my laptop with the usb cord I view it like a mass storage device (USB stick). All the folders are visible. When it is hooked to her laptop she can't see all the folders. Only Pictures, Music and one other one. The root folder is missing, and all the folders inside it. Hook it back up to my laptop and they are all there.

She has an older laptop running windows xp, I have a newer Gateway with Linux Mint 8 on it. But that can't be the issue. Its just a storage device. Why can't she see the folders?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Windows Explorer is well known for hiding files and folders. Linux is known for not hiding things.

You could research Explorer's settings?

Nope no luck. It is not hiding any folders. It has got me stumped.
