Hi I have the Samsung PN63C7000 and have been trying to log onto Pandora with no luck. I am using my email address and my password but it is not working. Can you provide some assistance?

rasurfari,

Have you updated your firmware yet? Updating to the latest firmware may be able to alleviate your issue. You can find the latest firmware on the Samsung site for your region.

No go on Pandora..

I have two independent (different homes) setups of the PN50C8000 and BD-C6900.

Both TVs have the latest 1026.0 firmware. Both BD have the latest 1015.4.

None of the 4 units will login to Pandora. I know my username (email) and password work, I have even reset the password to an insecure short and all lowercase letters one, but still no go.

Using the registration/activation code given by the units if I leave off my login in the settings also does not work.

Any advice would be appreciated. Customer service says it must be Pandora and my account. Makes no sense, I can use my account on multiple mobile devices, computers with different OSs (Win7x64, Win6x86, WinXP, OSX, Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat and even got it to work in an alpha build of Chrome OS.)

Thank you.

waffull,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.

Instead of using the account manager, delete the information in the Settings part of the Samsung Apps interface.

Then, on the main screen, you should see the Pandora box. Launching it from the main screen should give you access to your account.

If you're still having an issue, try emailing Pandora's support line. They may have to reset the account or take a look at the device. You can reach them at pandora-support@pandora.com and they have a pretty quick turnaround.

Unfortunately, the only other option I can suggest would be to delete the App out of the Samsung Apps mainpage and then Add it back and try to use your login and password information.

Had to uninstall the app, delete all the apps accounts and then reinstall the app and register with the registration code at pandora.com/samsung. I haven't yet recreated the apps accounts, hopefully it will all work once I did that.

Thanks for the help.

waffull,

I'm sorry to hear that it was such a process to get going, but I'm glad to hear you're on track with Pandora. It's a pretty neat feature.

Best,

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
