It gave you the clue about the firewall. Looks to me to be a defect in the product.
Did you call them?

Ok, so today i installed Panda platinum internet security 2005. everything installed just fine, but the problem happened when i restarted my computer.
I'm in a LAN split 3 ways, and when i booted my computer, i got the message saying "Limited or no connectivity". So nothing internet-related worked, and i couldn't access anything on the LAN. when i opened up panda, everything had an OK next to it, except i got an error on the Personal Firewall. it said to restart computer or reinstall to fix.
I restarted, no luck. I used the repair feature, no luck. Then i reinstalled panda, and i got the same message (limited or no connectivity and the error on the firewall). so i uninstalled it again, and this time i chose custom installation. i opted to have the personal firewall feature not install. the firewall did not install, but when i restarted, it still said limited or no connectivity
i scanned for viruses and whatnot.. it found some adware, and one virus. i tried reinstalling again, and no luck once again.. but i can't update the virus definitions because as soon as panda is installed, my connection to the LAN goes out. once panda is uninstalled, my connection on the LAN is fine
thanks to anyone who can help me
