Panda Antivirus Titanium 2004 Automatic Protection error

by Pcfreakske2000 / June 27, 2005 12:08 AM PDT

Hi all,

I use Panda Antivirus Titanium 2004 ( I'm aware there is a new version out, just using it till the license is expired .

Since some days the "Automatic Protection" feature has been giving me some error.

Anyone know how I can fix it ?

Already tried uninstalling and re-installing Panda Antivirus Titanium 2004 , without a result.

Spyware and more.

I'm encountering spyware and more that throw some AV programs into such fits. You should be spyware and P2P free then check if there is a Panda forum.

Hi all ,

The "Automatic Protection" feature seems to work again.

For a few days it didn't work properly.

I scan for spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware and sometimes with Microsoft Antispyware Beta , so ...

It might have been a glitch or just something else.

Glad it's working again.

Thanks for all the help , though.

Appreciated.

While I would have wiped it off the disk and either installed it again or changed horses, you should post this where all the AntiVirus action and discussion is.

Where? The Virus Forum.

bought Panda Platinum Internet Security 2005 today

In reply to: No sorry.

Hi all ,

The problem is fixed , because I bought a new Panda product today.

I mailed PandaSoftware and told them that I don't want to use Panda Antivirus Titanium 2004 anymore. Although the license is still running for a few months.

Panda Platinum Internet Security 2005 is a good product.

It has a firewall built-in , spyware protection and also , of course , antivirus protection , protection against phishing and stuff. Also protection against unknown viruses are there , called "TruPrevent Technologies".
