Panda Anti Virus

Dec 19, 2005 10:24PM PST

A friend of mine who runs this anti virus has been commenting on how it seems to block a lot of mail.

Today I sent her an url and she sent it back to me with this message from Panda.

#######################################################
Panda Titanium Antivirus 2005 warning:

The file changing.url was potentially dangerous and was deleted
.

interesting thoughts.

The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
Shortcut to: http://www.lovethissite.com/changing/

Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled
.

I have an on demand scanner from Panda, however my knowledge of it and it's settings is very limited.

My friend is a standalone home user, running XP-SP-2 fully patched and OE for her email client.

Are there some settings that can be changed either in Panda or OE to prevent this occurence?

Thank you
