Question

Panasonic Viera 32" TV chops images at the corners

Jan 1, 2015 3:30AM PST

We have a Panasonic TC-L3232C 32" TV, and the images from the corners are always chopped, like the picture is overscanning.

This is most evident when watching sporting events - the team names or logos, or the clock, or whatever is along the left or right edge of the screen, is lopped off by 3 characters or so.

I've been through the aspect ratio and formatting menu commands, and whatever "box" the settings jam the image into, it's the same problem.

The zoom adjustments only adjust the picture vertically, and it's horizontal that is messed up.

This is so frustrating - a 1967 Zenith TV would have a horizontal adjustment, and this thing, that you seemingly need a college degree for all the menu settings, leaves me know way (that I'm seeing) to fix this.

Help! Please.
