Question

Panasonic Tough Book

Jul 17, 2015 11:36AM PDT

Hello I am in the market to purchase a Panasonic Tough Book for work. I will be on job sites that could be dusty and new construction. I want a model that's reliable but I do not necessarily want to buy the latest and greatest due to the high cost.

1-Can anyone recommend a model number I should be looking for?

2-I need it to have DATA internet access , do they come with the 3/4 G cards? and are they carrier specific?

3- Not running any extensive programs, mainly for email, internet browsing , word & Excel. (No photo shop or any other heavy resource programs)

Thank you inadvance

Rob

Maybe then you should look at

a low power economy model which would be less affected by dust conditions if it only uses a heatsink without a fan.

You might even consider a tablet in those conditions, and I think prices on them have dropped quite a bit. The Intel "M" processor is a fanless type.
