Panasonic TH-50PX500U

I'm getting ready to purchase my TV. I chose the Panasonic TH-50PX500U. I get a discount from my job. I can get the TV for $2,900. Before I take the dive I just wanted some opinions on my choice. Of course the discount weights in heavily however, putting that aside and thinking of features, quality, picture etc. I'm I making a good choice?

Please respond with your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

50px500 for under $3000?! WOW!! Great TV, too

I posed a question about a week ago asking basically the same thing. Is this TV worth the money?? Absolutely it is. I am going back and forth between the PX500 and the Toshiba Cinema Series hpx95. They are both phenomenal TVs. The Toshiba, I know, off-hand has more connectivity than the Panny does, but that doesn't deter from the picture quality of the Panny.

To get the px500 for under $3000 is a true steal. And the fact that it is a truly awesome set, makes it all the better of a deal. The px500 is the most sought after set on the market right now, and I can say with full confidence that you will enjoy this set. Go check out places like and other sites that have reviews online. EVERYONE loves this TV. The Toshiba hpx95 series is strong up-and-comer and has been rumored and verified that it uses the Panasonic panel in their plasmas. Thus, all the nice things are being said about it. But if you got that Panny coming for under $3000, you will enjoy it!!
