I just bought a Sony kp-65wv600 this set is a 65" 16x9 unit and I am blown away with the great picture, I only paid $2500 for it and the picture looks better than the expensive plasmas The only thing I had Done was after 3 months I had Sony service come out (under warrenty) and calibrate the t.v. The only drawback is it weighs a ton who cares also If you ever have to replace any of the tubes they only cost $200. each If your plasma ever poops out you might as well throw it in the garbage can, but whatever you buy be sure to hook up your d.v.d player and hi-def satellite or cable system use d.v.i or hdmi interface and if you only have hdmi or d.v.i input on your t.v get a giffen switcher dont use componit vidio cables please reply stewart norrie Iam in the chat room
Ready to buy my Plasma,I had planned on the TH-50PHD7UY all along, but at the moment I can get the "consumer" version for just a couple hundred more. When comparing the specs it seems as if the consumer is better in some important ways, like it can display 1080i, and the amount of colors it can display are far greater...but it doesnt come with a PC input.
How much of a problem is it if my New Tv can't show 1080i?
which one do you guys think is better (not considering the price difference)?
