16:9 aspect ratio is nothing more than just the physical configuration, which have nothing to do with resolution.
1024 x 768 will have a ratio of 4:3 when the spacing of the pixels are the same (basically speaking).
Hi, the specs for this 42" plasma show that it has a resolution of 1024*768 and an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Since 1024*768 is a pixel ratio of 4:3, does this mean that the pixels have different spacing in each direction? Or is there some other explanation?
