One of the recurring playback issues is encoding. Many folk go up in flames over the encoding and container issues. Some blurt out the player supports MKV then that's a container and not the encoding. It gets deep fast.
So in short, these TVs only show the files they know how to play. Your work is to figure out what encoding is supported over the interface you are using. I don't see a document on this and I don't own your setup.
I found this area so annoying that I ditched the smart TV and use my old laptop as a media center and player.
Hi, I can see the readynas and the main folder structure but when i go into FILMS for example shows no other folders or files.
On any other device in the house its fine just the home system not playing ball. Any suggestions??
