I just bought the Panasonic TC P54V10. I am playing NHL 10 two nights in a row on the 360 and after playing a little while the tv shuts down. I see a red light blink 4 times then off for a few seconds and 4 times again. I unplug and re plug the tv directly into the wall rather than the surge protector. The tv won't power on and the little red light now just flashes on once and off for 5 seconds. The TV will not power back on until after a few hours (when I get up). I called Panasonic and they said to make sure I had a surge protector that would handle the tv. I bought a new one today and it is the only thing plugged into it is the tv now. I have no idea why it does this. Is there anyone who can explain this to me? The store I bought it from has no idea either. Is this a problem? if I get another one will it fix the problem? If someone could help that would be great!
Lately, while I play NHL 10 on my PS3, my TV has been turning off and the light blinks four times. To get it to work again, I have to unplug it and wait a few minutes. Before, this was happening right as I left an online game, so I re-downloaded patch 1.01 for NHL 10. That seemed to have fixed the problem at the time, but it didn't. Now it happends randomly while playing NHL 10. I called panasonic earlier today and they said the four blinking lights mean't a HDMI compatibilty issue. The HDMI cables that I use are Phillips cables that I bought a month ago from Costco. I doubt this is the problem. So where is the root of the problem? Is it my 40 gb PS3, my TV or the NHL 10 game itself? My PS3 has firmware 3.0.
Your help is appreciated!
