Panasonic Plasma TC-P54V10 HDMI compatiblity with PS3 NHL 10

Sep 18, 2009 7:20AM PDT

Lately, while I play NHL 10 on my PS3, my TV has been turning off and the light blinks four times. To get it to work again, I have to unplug it and wait a few minutes. Before, this was happening right as I left an online game, so I re-downloaded patch 1.01 for NHL 10. That seemed to have fixed the problem at the time, but it didn't. Now it happends randomly while playing NHL 10. I called panasonic earlier today and they said the four blinking lights mean't a HDMI compatibilty issue. The HDMI cables that I use are Phillips cables that I bought a month ago from Costco. I doubt this is the problem. So where is the root of the problem? Is it my 40 gb PS3, my TV or the NHL 10 game itself? My PS3 has firmware 3.0.

Your help is appreciated!
