Panasonic Palmcorder PV-DV400D

Mar 15, 2005 8:44AM PST

I am trying to record from my Palmcorder onto a DVD using a Pioneer DVR which keeps telling me that there is no DV camcorder connected despite the fact that it is connected on the front panel. Under the recording instructions it says to "set the camcorder to VTR mode". I can't find a VTR mode option anywhere. Is this why the DVR is not recognizing my camcorder?

Most camcorders had a selection of:
Off
Record
VTR (video tape recorder)

You use VTR mode to playback anything you have recorded.

.................

I suggest that you post your question on the

Mine has the following selections:

VCR(not VTR--does that make a difference?)
Off
Camera

I am posting on the camcorder forum as well.

Thanks!
