PANASONIC NVDA1 shows big square distortion image

Mar 9, 2011 10:33PM PST

Hi everybody!
My MINI DV PANASONIC NVDA1 in play mode sometimes shows some big squares (like big size pixilated squares).
I already run a cleaning tape but the problem persists. Do you know this problem? What could be the possible cause of it?

Thanks and Regards

I've seen that on many miniDV players over the years.

The lesson was to get the content off the tape before it's corrupt in some way.

I think you haven't got the point!
This is a camera problem when recording and not a problem of the tape.
Any further opinions!?

Then the camera needs repair. Sorry but I've seen that on playback but when it shows when recording it means the camera is bound for the shop.

Your top post did write "My MINI DV PANASONIC NVDA1 in play mode" which I took as a playback issue instead of a record issue.
