panasonic NV-GS70 to TV

Gooday. I have a NV-GS70 camcorder, I cannot make it work on the tv, when I connect to tv AV nothing happens, it plays ok on the camera screen. Any ideas.

a PAL-localized, miniDV tape based, digital camcorder. Using that standard definition, analog, AV-out, connection requires a TV that can handle a PAL video signal. In which country are you located - and what TV is being used? And we assume that the TV's AV-in port to which the camcorder is connected has been selected (in the TV's menu/options system)...

Gooday. I am in Australia. Have several TVs. Won't work on any AV. Our other cameras work ok on the AV settings. Must be camera setting, but I don't know how to set the setting or what it should be. The book is too confusing.
