Panasonic multimedia system un-w700 availability

Last week I saw a promotion for this product at a price of $50.00, on the Cnet Bargins and I followed the link which took me to the Panasonic shop, but I could not buy it there. I connected with chat and was told that it was out of stock, and would arrive at the weekend. I have subsequently tried and today I was notified that it could be purchased from Amazon.com at a price of $229.00. I am upset that I wasted a lot of time due to a bad promotional posting by Cnet.
