Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 vs Fujifilm FinePix F72EXR?

Dec 21, 2009 11:43AM PST

I am debating on which camera to buy. I want a camera that takes excellent photos, but can still fit in my pocket. The Panasonic seems to have better reviews, HD Video, however is a little bulky. The Fujifilm is much slimmer, but does not have HD Video. Want to bring it out at night and throw in the pocket, but want excellent pictures for Europe. Any suggestions?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 vs Fujifilm FinePix F72EXR?

Would you recommend the ZR1 over the FujiFilm F72EXR? I want a great all around camera in the pocket...the ZR1 may be a better choice than the ZS3.

A Matter of Light

If you want low light performance that is better than average, you will need the Fujifilm F72EXR.

Both the Panasonic ZR1 and ZS3 are good choices but they are only average in low light.

Only about 5 or 6 small cameras do better than average in low light and the Fujifilm F72EXR is one of the few.

If low light photographs are not important to you, get the ZR1.
