Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ10

by jensjefsen / November 6, 2010 12:31 AM PDT

Hello.
I just bought a new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ 10. It's great.
I'm thying to get it to work with my MacBook Pro.
I can open pics in iPhoto, but video movies are not visible.
I don't even see the files in finder.
How come?
The camera comes with a CD, that does not contain en application for Mac.
Is there any way to resolve that problem?

Connect the camera and launch iMovie. With the camera on Play, you should be able to import your video.

LUMIX TZ10 avchd files

I had the same problem - i have loaded vlc player - a free dowload - it plays the Lumix HD .mts files very well. I am also told by apple that if you buy Final Cut Express that it contains the Apple intermediate codec for Quicktime that will enable the Lumix AVCHD file to play through Iphoto/Quicktime etc. I haven't tried this yet but plan to buy a version shortly.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
