I am debating merits of industrial vs consumer models. I understand much of debate and know it has been covered here extensively. The one point that confuses me is this- the industrial models eg th 42phd7uy or
th 42phd8uk appear NOT to have HDMI connections but rather either component or composite(Im not sure what the difference is) BNC connections. The consumer models do have at least one HDMI input. How significant is this for picture quality and for use of newer dvd players with hdmi capability eg upconversion? Can you connect a new hdmi dvd player such as the samsung hd 941 or the denon 1920 to the industrial models or do you get any loss of quality if there is no HDMI. Thanks
