panasonic HDMI connection

i have a panasonic TX 32LXD60 and have just been given the new amazon fire TV stick at first setting up seemed simple but has proved not so, however whilst having set it up with wi fi etc etc vision fine but I cannot audio, checking I see that this model TV does not support dolby digital plus, whilst the brochure with panasonic TV says it does, can I get around this "rock and a hard place??? (Spoke to panasonic but notvery helpful )

many thanks for suggestioin regretfully all that somes up on the "setting" is dolby, no mention of HDMI, great shame, lady wife disappointed to say them least, as am I. Unfortunately family "bovril jar " empty currently so cant replace TV!!! cordially David

somes - whoops should have been "comes " refering to that which appears on my TV screen during installation of amazon fireTV stick. Thanks for taking an interest.

I wonder if after install there is a menu to change that audio setting.
