But some find that some discs are "gone". They are never usable with said software titles.
But they tell me that ISOBUSTER can peek inside the disc and get the video files out.
As I said, NOT A SOLUTION but might be a work around.
Bob
I own a Panasonic DVD Video Camera (model no. VDR-D250) which came with DVD-Movie Album SE software. I'm having a problem downloading some of the dvds I've recorded.
After opening the software, I insert the dvd into my DVD Ram drive E. Usually, after about 30 seconds, the individual clips I've recorded appear as thumbnails at the bottom of the screen. I then save each clip to my C drive, and keep a back-up copy on my external drive F. No problem.
I'm now receiving the following messages when I insert some dvds for downloading:
"Drive E is being used by another application, or is not in a usable state. Exit all applications or exit the DVD-MovieAlbum, check that the drive is ready for use, then run it again." or:
"The disc in Drive E cannot be used. (Format Type: Unknown"
Other dvds of the same brand and type that I insert don't get this message and I can download them without a problem.
The disc information:
Disc brand: Fujifilm
Disc Type: DVD-RW
Rec Format: VR
Finalized
Disc Protect: Off
OS: Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
I've rebooted several times to no avail. I've also deinstalled and reinstalled the software but this didn't solve the problem.
Can anyone help me fix this?
Thanks,
James
