If I run a PalmOS emulator on a PocketPC, would I be able to run Palm applications that I download from the internet? Thanks!

Some, but not all. For example my application requires a serial port which this emulation does not offer.

So does that mean any self-contained software would be usable? Or are there software compatibility issues too?

It can't be simple.

The emulator only went so far. As such, any software than needed some call that wasn't implemented would fail.

You can try!
