Palm Zire 72 vs. HP iPAQ 1940/1945

by hendrang / July 1, 2004 3:44 AM PDT

Currently I have a HP iPAQ 1940. I was wondering if it is worthed for me to switch to Palm Zire 72 (Well of course I can just sell my current PDA). Any comments about this one?

Another thing that I'm not sure about is whether Palm has a feature of using wi-fi (probably using a wireless card)?

The maker of the SD WiFI card does not appear to be moving to support the Palm OS. Please research that.

If WiFi is a need, review the Dell Axim X30 with such.

pretty sure there are wireless palms. the Tungsen line for sure. Bluetooth. Check it out.

It all depends on what you're looking for in your pda.

How does your PPC differ from a 72 and why would you think a 72 is better?

I too have an ipaq (older 3835). i've been debating the zire 72 or getting the 1940/1945. i've researched out the SDIO SD 802.11b card and sandisk's website says it supports the 1940/1945 and zire 71. i wrote them re: the zire 72 and they never got back to me.
any major pluses/minus of the ipaq vs the zire 72? (besides the camera)?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
