PALM TX

Dec 28, 2005 11:40AM PST

I received a Palm Tx for Christmas. I am trying to understand how it operates. My biggest concern is not being able to get music onto it. It has the pocket tunes feature and I even downloaded Rhapsody onto my computer, paid for music, and it will not allow me to sync it onto my palm.

I receive a reply telling me that I don't have something on my palm that will allow rhapsody or media player.

Could you help me please, let me know what I'm suppose to do..

I copy my MP3s to the memory SD card.

Pocket tunes then plays them. I use CDEX to get my tunes from my CDs to MP3s.

Also, I use the MEDIA icon on the Palm Desktop software to put .AVI as well as my MP3s onto the Palm.

I don't use iTunes, Rhapsody or such so if there is an issue there, talk to their support.

Using Rhapsody on LifeDrive
Jan 5, 2006 1:02PM PST

Hi sjcreecy, if you go to the LifeDrive support page on the www.palm.com site there is a link for ?Listen to music with Pocket Tunes.? Clicking through to the article shows another link, ?Moving MP3 files to an expansion card,? which goes farther down into the body of the article. It shows how to move files with Rhapsody: Here are the links:

I hope this helps.

Rhapsody problems on Palm
Jan 16, 2006 6:01AM PST

I am also having problems playing songs purchased on Rhapsody on my Palm (Tungsten E). It's not as simple as moving the mp3s to your SD card. There are licensing issues that keep even P-tunes from playing them. I've used the Rhapsody transfer tool as well, thinking that might be the proper way to transfer the license, but no dice. I tried the links left in the previous message, but they are no longer available. Any help out there is appreciated. I'm ready to drop Rhapsody.
