I'm currently in the market for a handheld and find myself torn between the Palm Tungsten T3 and the iPaq 4150.
I used to have an iPaq 3630, so the advantage on that end is that I already have the peripherals I need. However, the Palm does have some attractive features that the iPaq doesn't carry.
I'm willing to spend up to $700 for everything (adding peripherals to the T3 if I choose it).
Mobility and memory are my primary considerations. I move around quite a bit and I use and store lots of documents and databases for my work. I never stored presentations, but now that these new gadgets can accommodate them, that's ideal.
Which of the two handhelds would you recommend?
Also, I read elsewhere that the iPaq's system alters the formatting of Word/Excel/Powerpoint files when you transfer them. Is this true? This would be a great concern for me, as I intend to use the handheld for these types of files a lot.
Thank you very much.
