Palm OS vs. Symbian OS vs. Windows Mobile

I have tried numberous smart phones on the market such as the Ericsson P910i on T-Mobile, Treo 650 on Cingular, and the Cingular 2125. I found that the Windows Mobile OS of the Cingular 2125 on the EDGE network was the fastest in browsing web pages. The slowest being the Treo 650 on EDGE. Are Windows based Smart Phones faster on the web that a PALM OS?
