palm e2 and HP media center

just got a new tungsten e2- we did a hot sync for the first time and all my info migrated into my new handheld- But since then, every time i hot sync i get a fatal error on my handheld and have to reset it. Is there a compatability issue?

But there is not enough clues here for me to offer advice.

I will share that my TX did that but I had to find what old Palm software was incompatible. It was not fun and I'll call such "fairly advanced troubleshooting." Your post has so few details that I'm taking a wild guess there was some older Palm unit.

i dont have a lot of info yet as we just got the e/2 last night and my husband is setting it up.
But you think that perhaps i have old 3rd party software on my old tungsten E... is that correct.
Maybe i should try deleting old programs and install them one at a time to find out where the trouble may be.

I bet that's it. You didn't tell that in your first post or what old programs so I can't share if any were similar to mine. Sorry I can't share the list since it's been about a year since I went through that. But if you had listed something I may recall it.
