General discussion

pages and large format printers

Mar 17, 2010 11:31PM PDT

I have been printing pages documents consisting of many layers of photographs on our Canon Pro9000 printer. The results have been super and with no obvious issues arising. I am now considering buying a Canon IPF6100 printer so that I can move to 24" wide paper. I am told that page layout programs often have trouble printing to large format printers. Does anyone have guidance on this? Also, what kind of file is Pages? There is no three letter tail identifying it for me. Thanks, K

The reason you do not see it is probably because you have it turned off during the save process.

Hopefully you will get a response on the printer side shortly

Thank you. Now that I know where to look, it is ever so obvious. Large format printer issues, however, are still complex and cloudy. K
