Page Not Found: The page you tried to access does not exist

Jul 19, 2010 6:58AM PDT

I am suddenly having problems accessing a website that I have been using for several months without incident. I can still go to the homepage, but when I try to log in or click on any link, I get a Page Not Found message (full message is below). The intended link remains in the address bar. I don't think it's a website issue because the homepage indicates the six most recent users to log in and that list is still updating as normal. I haven't noticed any similar issues with any other websites.

I am running Windows 7 on an HP desktop (p6230y), Internet Explorer 8, and Norton Security Suite v.3.8. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd try it on another PC on your Internet connection. Just find a laptop and plug it in or configure it for your wireless. What happens?

I tried another computer in the house (same OS but running Kaspersky AV) and got the same "Page Not Found" error.

That points to either ...

- the site (most likely) [now try somewhere else as experiment]
- your modem or router [those are easy to reset]
- your ISP [contact them if it works everywhere else , reseting modem and router didn't help and it doesn't work with you on 2 machines]

Problem fixed

My problem resolved itself, and I didn't do anything, so I'm guessing it was a website issue after all. Thanks for your suggestions though.
