Page cannot be displayed?

Jan 6, 2006 11:20AM PST

have a new putor XP. not a cheap one. I have problems with page will not display ONLY on the E-BAY site only. Hardly ever does it do this on other sites or while surfing. I had and older putor with 98SE and never had this many problems on the E-BAY site. I have to keep hitting refresh many times on e-bay,,even just to sign in. I go and delete cookies and all temp files also,,only to look at about 3 items and then back to the will not display junk..Heck I even tried 3 times tonite to send an email to customer support on e-bay site and kept getting the will not display junk..With my old 98 I could browse all day long and never had to delete cookies or temp files..I even have my temp. file folder set at alot more mb than before.

Thanks for all your info. I did check on my 126 bit and I do have it..I have the sp2 pack. I just tried this this am> went to my connections, then settings, both the auto detect settings and the proxie settings were checked..I unchecked both and had nothing else checked , then went back to e-bay went surfing..It did take longer to load a page but went page to page and never got a wont display error..or have to refresh ..It also worked well on the traderonline site as I was getting errors on that site as well..So I quess this is working for now.
