It looks like you don't have enough room on your harddrive, also check your ram, not enough memory can be a real pain.

Although 224 MB RAM isn't much, I don't believe it's the cause of the problem. So I doubt if adding another 256 Mb stick will help. The disc space (35.7 Gb free) is more than enough.

Can you give the full and litteral and exact text of the message?

Kees

Service pack 3 setup error access denied

How to determine whether the registry update has failed I did that step by step

I reset the registry and the file permission

Reboot the computer and went to the windows update to see if I can get all good download with no problem

After reading your post, I found registry-cleaner-exposed.com/category/windows-errors/ which, near the end, mentioned a solution that seems to match what you did.

Can you tell us if it really helped?

Kees

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
