P2370L

I am aware the P2370 has been released, but I am waiting for the LED backlit verison. Is there an offical release date? Most new websites say Q1 of 2009, and this was back in January!

Silaz1,

It looks like the P2370 is available.

I'm not aware of the "L" version - perhaps there is a model out there that I'm not aware of, but the P2370 can be purchased from any of these authorized retailers.

Delays

Yes, this very intriguing monitor/TV--a good way to introduce yourself to LED-backlit video for $399--has been delayed. Was supposed to be available Q1 2009. Then when that deadline passed, they announced it would ship June 2009. Since then, silence. Who knows if Samsung itself doesn't know?

I'm very interested in this monitor as well. I'm looking to buy either the P2370HD, P2570, or the P2570HD. If this P2370L comes out in the 25 series (hopefully with an HDMI input too), then I'll probably go with that.

To the Samsung rep: please try to provide a little info on this monitor. Silaz_1 provided the correct link for the press release.

djplayedya,

Indeed, and hopefully this will answer your questions. I very much appreciate your patience.

The latest I have is that the P2370L has been renamed the XL2370, and it is tentatively planned for a September"ish" launch in several retailers TBD, one of them being Best Buy. Naturally, I would stress "tentative", but I've been told that this should be the case.
