P207 External LED Display

I just got my hands on the 207 but I have not been able to change the timing of the external display. Once the display goes out I cannot see the time or date. Is there any way that this can be changed?

First, let me say that I don't own this phone. But I have researched it. According to the video about the P207 on this site, that can't be changed. But I did read a post that said that if you hold one of the volume keys down a couple of seconds, that would turn it back on.
