Cynthia,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;196492 is the standard Microsoft Knowledge Base article on this subject. This should suffice.
But Microsoft wouldn't be Microsoft if they didn't have other ways: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8b081f3a-b7d0-4b16-b8af-5a6322f4fd01&displaylang=en tells about the Outlook Personal Folder backup add-in (for Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003). If you look hard enough, you'll find a way to use the information you backed up, also. Personally, I would stick to the standard, I think.
Hope this helps,
Kees
In my previous message (see below) I forgot to mention that I am running Windows XP, and am trying to export/import between Office 2002 and 2003. Again, I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me.
Original message: I am desperately trying to transfer the contents of several Outlook contact folders from one computer to another, so that the entire list of contacts doesn't have to be re-typed.
Does anyone know how this is done? I would be hugely appreciative.
