Own a Panasonic HDC-HS60 but want sony HDR-XR550V

Oct 11, 2010 1:29AM PDT

I recently just purchased the Panasonic HDC-HS60 and so far, I do like it quite much, the optical zoom is more impressive, in my opinion compared to the Sony's but I am interested in buying a higher end camcorder.

I plan to do a lot of outdoor filming, including underwater filming during scuba diving. I also plan to use it for rock climbing, motorcycle riding, and other assorted extreme filming demands.

does anybody have any input for whether or not I should just keep the camera I own, as I do like it, or if I should invest in something different.

any opinion on this is immensely appreciated.
